Lot's going on and we are excited for the holiday's!!Me before the race trying to stay warm!!
My mother-in-law and I after the very step up hill race that I thought was suppose to be more of a rolling hill race. We just did another one on Halloween it was much easier.

Ellie was a witch on Halloween, I will have more pictures of her and the boys later.

Idaho and Flathead Lake Montana

We went to Idaho to my dad's cabin for a couple days and then went over to Flathead lake for the 4Th of July. In Idaho we did the kids favorite thing when we go to pa's cabin and that's riding the four wheelers! They love it! We also went down the snake river on a little float trip, my mom has all the pictures of the river trip. Ellie swam with Kenny almost the whole way down she did not want to ride in the boat she wanted to swim. And if you have ever been in the snake river you know how cold it is, it stays about the same temperature year around.

Ellie feel asleep during the ride!

Then after Idaho we went to Montana to Grandpa and Grandma Schaffers house on Flathead Lake for the Fourth of July. Like always Grandpa had the best fire works and a bunch of boats were parked on the lake in front of his dock to watch the show. It's amazing cause you can see all around the lake and all the big fireworks everyone is doing! It was great cause grandpa let each kid light 3 fire works, they thought it was so fun and were a little nervous at the same time. The kids were in the water and dirt everyday and loved it. Of course we also ate a ton of great food and all gained a few pounds from all the cooking!

Watching the fireworks Kenny and Kandace liked them just as much as the kids.

June Has Been Crazy!!

June has been very busy for us. Kenny has been to Lake Powell 2 times just this month. One week for a guys trip and another week for Young Men's. He had a great time and is a little crazy with the cliff jumping and wake boarding!! Then in between the two weeks he was gone Ellie, my mom and I took a little trip to California to see my cousin Patrick graduate. Ellie was crazy as usual, the plane ride I did not ENJOY! You can not control that girl she is everywhere and is not afraid of anything or anyone. Colby and Owen went camping with Kenny and had a blast and they have just been playing in the water as much as they can. Ellie loves to swim and screams when you take her out, she will go down any slide and jump off anything you let her, she loves to stick her head under water so we have to watch her constantly!!!! Kenny and I can not get enough of her and her chubs but she sure is a handful and will be even more of one when she is a teenager!Colby at his dance festivalColby did very well dancing even with the girls

Patrick and Ellie-We are so proud of him, he is such a great kid. Plus he is going to BYU so we will see him a lot more!(California)
Ellie playing with the ants at Patrick graduation party. She was the life of the party, she would go to anyone and had to make sure she was center of attention at all times.(California)
Uncle Dean and Ellie. Ellie is eating a whole bag of smarties while the drool is dripping in his hair, Dean didn't even care and Ellie was in heaven(California)

Ellie's Great Grandpa Bauer, she loves to drink out of everyone's cup especially if it's soda.(California)
We would stay up so late in California and Ellie would just fall asleep anywhere, which never happens I guess only when she party's hard! She slept really good while we were there.
Ellie and the plane my worst nightmare!
These swim picture are of today. Ellie loves water, I couldn't find her bottom to her swim suit and her bum is so big so half of it is hanging out of the swim diaper. It is so cute cause she really does have a big bum, it's the biggest in the family so far!
She is always trying to drink the water.

As you can see he thinned out over the years and there are pictures of him even more chubbier than the ones I have.

Colby lost his first Tooth!

Colby lost his first tooth, and his big tooth is already growing in. I can not believe how old he is getting. He is such a good kid! Sorry the pictures are not the best I took a couple and none of them really turned out.Ellie loves to put her blankets over her head and walk around. She thinks it's so funny to not be able to see and run into things, she is crazy! The other night she found Kenny's hat and she did the same thing, once in awhile she would where it the right way.
Owen is just not sure what to do with everything that is going on at the house!!

Wrestling- Halloween and Surgery

We have had a busy last two months. Here are some pictures to get you updated. First Halloween, and then wrestling ended(the boys were sad about that!) and then we had a double tonsillectomy and adenoids surgery. But we did not get a two for one deal, we had to pay double, you try not to breath so they don't charge you for extra oxygen!!!

Ellie as a butterfly

The boys in the front row in there wrestling stance. They did so good and loved it. It's a hard sport they run so much for just warm up and do a ton of drills while running. It was really good for them, Owen is still a little young a got bored sometimes, but Colby loved it and could take anybody down any size!!
Ellie again!
The boys were ninjas for Halloween
Ellie doing the dishes while the boys had surgery!
These pictures are in the wrong order and I can not fix it! The bottom picture is before surgery and the top picture is after surgery. So far they have done really well, I guess there tonsils and adenoids were really bad!! The doctor could not believe how Colby was even breathing. I am glad it is over but it's the healing part that can be hard and they can only eat soft foods for a week and it's already gotten old eating the same thing and we are only in the second day. I hear the 3rd and 4Th day is the worst so I am prepared for a painful next couple of days!! I am proud of them they were very brave at the hospital, didn't cry once. Only Owen freaked out and screamed after he was waking up from the surgery he was pretty scared, hurting and out of it. They gave him medicine and calmed him down. Colby when he woke up was ready to get out of there. He kept standing up and saying get this thing(IV) out of my arm I want to go home. The nurses thought he was crazy cause he had no side effects and acted like it was any other day.
Owen loves his daddy look at the way he is looking at him!

Tagged!

Well, Tara has been telling me to respond to Ashlie's request to post, so I will post something.
I don't know why I am needing to post about myself, it is not like I keep my thoughts a secret, for those of you who know me know what I am talking about. I tell people what I think, and unfortunately, or fortunately (depends on your opinion) sometimes my opinions are not always pleasing to everyone. That is one reason that I won't ever be in politics... or should be.
The Rules:
*Link to the person who tagged you: My 'cousin in-law' Ashlie tagged me and Tara is making me do this.
*Post the rules on your blog:
*Write six random things about yourself.
*Tag six people and let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
*Let your tagger know when your entry is up. (Don't forget to come back and tell me you completed this tag!)
1. I love my life. I have a great life! I have been a lucky guy, and couldn't have ever expected anything more. Having said that, I wouldn't have settled for less either, when I set my mind to doing something, I do it, except for #6. I owe all my blessings to the Lord.
2. I love being a dad, although it is not an easy job. My real dad wasn't around as I grew up, and I always told myself that I would be there for the children I bring into the world. I was really excited to have kids, and love watching them thinking about my childhood, and wanting the best for them.
3. I love America and the core beliefs that made it great (which are individual freedom in all their forms: economic, religious, political etc.). Ever since I was a child (and cried when I heard the song "I'm proud to be an American") I have felt a spiritual love for what America is, or was, or should be.
4. I love my wife. I am so thankful for her. She works so hard at being a perfect wife, and mother, but always feels inadequate. If there was one thing that I could do, it would be to convince her somehow, someway that she is perfect... for me, our kids and herself. I can honestly say that the grass is greenest on my side of the street when it comes to who I was lucky enough to marry. She is beautiful. Her cooking is awesome. She is a great mother. She forgives me for my stupid imperfections. She keeps the house clean... until we mess it up. I could go on. Really, she is awesome!
5. I love sports. I love playing them, I love watching them (mostly watching them now), I love watching my boys play them, and I can't wait to watch them play them as they grow up. I have been really suprised how intense I get watching Colby wrestle. I am definetly going to be the crazy dad on the sidelines trying to coach him at the top of my lungs while he is playing... I apologize in advance for those of you who will witness this... unless Colby or Owen is playing your son and in that case I hope he kicks your kids butt! No offense of course.
6. I am a Caffiene addict, seriously. I tried quitting a month or so ago, and couldn't do it. It was crazy, I really tried, but only made it 4 days. It's embarassing, but true. Any ideas on how to quit?
-Kenny

Dean Andal For Congress

DEAN ANDAL FOR CALIFORNIA CONGRESS
My Aunt Kari that lives in California, (who we don't see enough of) looks at our blog all the time to get updates. I have a ton of great memories with her and my other Aunt Lori!! I just want to dedicate this post to them and my Uncle Dean who is running for Congress in California. If you live where you can Vote for him I recommend it!!! You will not be disappointed with him being in Congress. Politics and Government is getting messy and away from the Constitution, which we shouldn't want. So if you want a good guy back in there just vote Dean Andal!!! Also I want to say he and my aunt have an amazing son Patrick, who is awesome at water polo. I have not seen him play but anyone who can play that sport is awesome! We miss him so much! When ever we go on family vacations with my 2 Aunts I end up laughing so hard my stomach hurts so bad. Here is to all the memories with those to crazy girls!!
If you would like to see what Dean is all about just go to---

Conference

Conference weekend is always a great time! When Kenny went to priesthood session instead of going out with a bunch of girls for dinner or whatever(probably cause I have 3 crazy kids to take care of now!!), the kids and I stayed home and had a movie night. The boys picked Transformers, Ellie is going to be a little tomboy cause she liked the movie just as much as the boys, but she dances when music plays on the movie and the boys just sit there. She always wants to be doing what the boys are doing! I hope everyone had a great weekend.
